Indian Army's Territorial Army officers post is for graduate male Indian citizen who want to serve the Indian Army on temporary basis.

Eligibility Criteria of Territorial Army

Applicant must be Indian citizen. Only male candidates may apply for Indian Territorial Army officer posts. Age of the applicant must be between 18 to 42 years as on 31 December 2014. Applicant applying for Territorial Army should have passed graduation from recognized university. Candidates who are employed in central / state government / semi government / private firm or person who is a business man may also apply for the Indian Territorial Army officer grade posts. Armed forces personnel are not eligible for applying in Territorial Army.

How to apply for Territorial Army officer posts?

In order to apply for Territorial Army, one must download the application form. Fill up the application form of Territorial Army and send it to respective TA Group headquarters. Territorial Army application form is free of cost and no additional fees is required to be paid by the applicant. One self addressed envelope with 27 rupees postal stamps and two recent passport size photographs should be attached along with the application form. All applications should reach the group headquarters latest by 31 December 2014.

Territorial Army written exam will be held on 08 February 2015. Written exam will consist of short essay in English and objective type questions related to current affairs and GK.
