Change is generally opposed by many people who come to know about it. Many reasons will be presented to justify that the new change would be a bad thing for us. There would be no single instance when you plan a big change in your life and all your friends and family support your plan. Let me share my life changing experience when I wanted a big change in my life.

I am a middle class man with limited resources of income. Three years ago I moved to New Delhi. I initially settled down in a rented house with my family. All was going smoothly and I thought that something I am missing in my life and that is my own house.

Owning a house was a great ambition of my life since many years. But I was afraid of the housing schemes and their pricing for houses. I wanted to have 2 BHK flat in a decent location which is easily accessible by common mode of transportation. I also wanted a good locality where daily need items are available. Whenever I tried to contact any housing broker, then I was shocked to hear the price of the house and thus dream remained unfulfilled for long time.

All of a sudden, I wanted to have my own house in Delhi NCR region. I started to calculate my earnings, savings and expenses to come up with a plan. Initially I met with few real estate brokers and surveyed few localities which were in reach of my budget. Though I thought that the houses which I shortlisted were within my budget limit, I later realized that I had to take a home loan to fulfill my dream of having my own house.

Mean while, I contacted my relatives too for suggesting me a good and affordable location to purchase a flat. Everyone asked the same question i.e., how I will arrange the money. When I said that I am planning to take a home loan from bank or any financial institution, most of them said that it is very risky to take a home loan to buy a flat.

My parents too told that Delhi is a notorious city for housing scams and it is not at all suggested to buy a house in the capital city. At one moment, I too thought that it might be risky affair.

After a couple of weeks when I started to slowly forget about my dream, one of my relatives called me and told that there is one flat in Greater Noida area where I can buy a flat for a reasonable price. Also I was very happy to hear that loan is also easily available and could be arranged by the builder.

I sprang into the action and soon I had my flat in Greater Noida. Now I am paying my home loan EMIs and living in my own house. Now my parents, relatives and friends who hear that I have a flat in Delhi NCR praises me and congratulate me for a good decision.

So this was my plight to buy an affordable house in Delhi NCR. So it was the biggest change in my life where I had to take a risk for the sake of better future.
