Togetherness is a wonderful boon for all mankind. Togetherness gives you the warmth and positive energy to move ahead in the life with optimistic thoughts. On the contrary, if we are alone then we tend to become negative towards our life and gradually we start to feel as if we are in great pain.
I want to share my life's memorable moment where our family had a great get-together with close relatives and had fun.
My family lives in Delhi and we have lots of relatives here. We visit to relatives often but never had a get-together. Last month accidentally my sisters-in-law visited our house with their families. There were total six kids aged between 6 months to 12 years. My daughter was the youngest of all the kids and every kid was so affectionate towards the baby.
As we met after a long time, we were very happy and our happiness was getting reflected in our faces too. We encouraged kids to do something creative. The kids asked for few chart sheets, glue and few decorative stickers. After getting the things, kids took empty oil cans. Then they were busy with their project in one of the rooms.
One of my brothers-in-law is a good singer but he is very shy to sing. Every time we had to persuade him to sing songs. This time too after persuading a lot, he agreed to sing songs for us. Initially he was struggling to sing songs as he left practicing singing. I told him that let us play instrumental version of the song he want to sing and then it would be easy to get a rhythm.
Instantly we choose the song he want to sing and played in the music system. When the music started to play, my brother-in-law sang the song and it looked as if any playback singer was singing the song. He was so happy and all family members were too happy that we tried with the instrumental.
After five to six songs, we all decided to play Antakshari game to have fun. So we formed two teams. first team consisted of all ladies and the second team consisted of all men and kids. The game continued for quite a long time and it was around two in the night when we decided to go to bed.
In the next morning, we went to a nearby park in the morning. Climate was very good. As the park is nearby airport, we could see aeroplanes flying on our heads. There was no limit of joy among all the kids when they saw the aeroplane from that close proximity. Then we returned from the park and had lunch together.
So the weekend spent with the relatives refreshed us and all of us were filled with a good positive energy as we got relieved with the day to day stress. We parted with a promise that we will organize similar get-together once in a month or two months.
The weekend became an unforgettable weekend for all of us who enjoyed a lot by spending quality time with all family members.
