There are many speculations related to the much awaited 7th pay commission pay scales. Here we have presented expected pay scales of Indian Navy officers as per upcoming 7th pay commission.

NAVY officers 7th pay commission pay scales

Sub Lieutenant pay scale

Presently Sub Lieutenant of Indian Navy is kept in the pay scale of 15600 - 39100. Apart from pay scale, Sub Lieutenant gets grade pay of 5400 rupees and 6000 rupees as MSP.

In the 7th pay commission pay scale of Sub Lieutenant is expected to be 40000 - 100000. Similarly grade pay of a Sub Lieutenant of Indian Navy is expected to be fixed as 13500 rupees and Military Service pay is expected to be around 15000 rupees.

Lieutenant pay scale

6th pay commission pay scale of Lieutenant of Indian Navy is 15600 - 39100 rupees. Lieutenant gets 6100 rupees as grade pay and 6000 rupees as MSP.

A Lieutenant of NAVY is expected to get 40000 - 100000 rupees pay scale in the 7th pay commission. Also grade pay of Lieutenant may be fixed as 16000 rupees and MSP may be fixed at 15000 rupees.

Expected 7th pay commission pay scale of Lieutenant Commander

Pay scale of a Lieutenant Commander of Indian Navy as per the 6th pay commission is 15600 - 39100 rupees. Experts are expecting that a Lieutenant Commander may get 40000 - 100000 rupees pay scale in the 7th pay commission.

Presently Lieutenant Commander gets 6600 rupees as grade pay and 6000 rupees as MSP. After implementation of 7th pay commission a Lieutenant Commander is expected to draw 18000 rupees as grade pay and 15000 as MSP.

Commander pay scale

A Commander of NAVY falls under Pay Band 4 and gets 37400 - 67000 rupees as pay scale. It is expected that a Commander will get his pay scale fixed in the pay band of 95000 - 170000 rupees in the seventh pay commission. Additionally a Commander of Indian Navy gets 8000 rupees as grade pay and 6000 rupees as MSP. In the seventh pay commission, Commanders may get a hefty 21000 rupees as grade pay and 15000 rupees as MSP.

Captain 7th pay commission pay scale

A Captain of NAVY gets 8700 rupees as grade pay and 6000 rupees as MSP along with pay band of 37400 - 67000.

In the 7th pay commission pay of Captain may be revised as 95000 - 160000 rupees pay scale, 24000 grade pay and 15000 rupees MSP.

Commodore pay

An Commodore of Indian Navy presently placed in pay scale of 37400 - 67000. Grade pay of an Commodore is 8900 and MSP is 6000 rupees.

Pay scale of an Commodore rank officer may be revised to 95000 - 160000 rupees. Also grade pay might be fixed as 25000 rupees. Military Service Pay may be fixed as 15000 rupees.

Rear Admiral

An Rear Admiral of NAVY is also placed in pay band 4 in the sixth pay commission. He draws pay scale of 37400 - 67000 rupees. Grade pay of 10000 rupees is admissible for an Rear Admiral. There is no MSP given to AVM of Indian Navy.

In the upcoming seventh pay commission an AVM may be placed in the pay band of 95000 - 160000 rupees. Grade pay of an AVM is likely to be fixed as 30000 rupees. MSP may not be provided to Rear Admirals.

Vice Admiral pay scales

There are three pay scales fixed for Vice Admirals of Indian Navy. Vice Admiral with HAG scale has been placed in the pay band of 67000 - 79000. In the next pay commission this pay band may get revised to 160000 - 200000. An Vice Admiral does not get any grade pay or MSP.

Vice Admirals with HAG + scale are placed under pay scale of 75500 - 80000. Pay scale may get revised to 180000 - 210000.

Apex scale Vice Admiral gets fixed pay scale as 80000 rupees. In the seventh pay commission pay scale of Apex scale Vice Admiral may get fixed to 220000 rupees.

Indian Navy's Admiral pay scale

At present the Admiral of Indian Navy gets 90000 basic pay. Basic pay is expected to be revised to 250000 rupees per month in the next pay commission.
